#9 last weekβs pens: week 12 of 2026
I get the most enjoyment out of my pens when I can be impulsive with it, and limiting the number of pens inked has been helping me change inks more often.
#8 last weekβs pens: week 11 of 2026
This weekβs inked is full of familiar inks and pens, including some bright sunny colours!
#7 last weekβs pens: week 10 of 2026
This weekβs colour palette worked quite well, the orange and the blues make each other pop off the page, making for very fun colourful notes.
#6 reading trouble: oxford flashcards
I use the Oxford flashcards to write little notes for myself in books. When I bought the book, why, and any other relevant information goes onto the notecard.
#5 last weekβs pens: week 9 of 2026
This week saw a red ink week, full of new and old favourites. The three different nibs and three very different inks made for good variety, but I cannot in full confidence say that they worked together well.
#4 a-live: diamine zeugma fountain pen ink
So, Diamine, bottle up wonderful archaeological sites, make solid inks, and sell it in places I love, and you have a lifelong customer. I will enjoy this ink often, in wide nibs and in tiny nibs, and will return for more.
#3 last weekβs pens: week 8 of 2026
Lately, a three-pen rotation has been keeping me plenty happy. Thereβs enough variation to pick and choose, but I can realistically use up most of the ink in a week too. Last week turned out to be the week of green pens and cool-toned inks.
#2 Home: Colorverse Nebula A5 Guide Sheets
Home is where my stack of Colorverse Nebula Guide Sheets is, tucked away in the second drawer of my desk. They sit next to other letter writing equipment like wax seals, safely tucked away from accidents, close enough to be ready when I want to write. No place would feel like home without a guide sheet with me, because how would I journal then?
#1 turn the page: kaweco sport fountain pen
Maybe a Kaweco Sport is the perfect pen. It shows up, subtly, reliably, everyday. When Iβm changing bags or purses itβs the first thing I reach for, and then chug it into my bag next to my keys and wallet. Itβs familiar, covered in my fingerprints and scratches from my various keys over the years. Nothing puts me into a βletβs goβ mindset more than this pen.
